What's New?
The Daypack Pro is Tortuga’s new ultralight, ultra-flexible computer bag. The daypack is light and packs flat in your luggage but is still comfortable to carry and durable enough for your travels.
The new bag is based on seven years of feedback and reviews of the Outbreaker Backpack, the previous version of this bag.
Your feedback and reviews told us that the Outbreaker Daypack's biggest weaknesses were noisy fabric, a hard-to-access front pocket, and a laptop sleeve that was too thin.
The new daypack uses our latest SHELL70RS sailcloth material which is quieter than the VX03 sailcloth used in the previous version.
To improve pocket access and organization, a quick-access top pocket has replaced the harder-to-open front pocket.
Finally, the new laptop sleeve is made of stretchy air mesh padding to hold and protect your computer.
What Hasn't Changed?
The improvements above add up to a better, easier-to-use daypack. But the most important features of a Tortuga backpack haven’t changed.
Like all previous generations, the Daypack Pro is still:
- Personal-item-sized
- Lightweight
- Comfortable to carry
- Weatherproof
Those four features are what make a great daypack.
